This is the second country rock number which I have chosen to review, 'Church of Rock' being the first. 'Hard Bitter 'n' Hopin' is classic country rock, with a traditional, country rock chorus and lyrics which convey despair and regret. Although I do not profess to be an expert in this musical field, I am sure that the song has all the qualities which someone seeking good country rock music would desire.
